Wild Game Processing
We offer multiple services when it comes to wild game. As long as you have a valid tag and a clean animal, we can process it for you.
Please note: All wild game must be very clean, with no hair, dirt, twigs, hide, hooves, throat, etc. Large cleaning fees will be assessed to animals that come to us dirty. A valid tag must be kept with the animal at all times. A copy of the tag will be made for you to keep with the head. All documents will be returned when you pick up your meat. These requirements also pertain to hang only animals. All services are provided on a first come first serve basis. No spaces will be reserved. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact us.

We will go over cutting instructions with you so that you get all of the steaks, roasts and grind that you desire. We have decades of experience with wild game and are here to help if you need it.
Hang Only Service
We do offer hang only services if you are just looking for a temporary cooler to hang your animal. A clean animal as well as a valid tag is still required.
Grind and/or Wrapping Service

Absolutely. We are limited on space and do not reserve spots. Wild game is taken on a first come, first serve basis. All wild game must be very clean with no hair, dirt, twigs, etc. The animal must be gutted and skinned with no head, hide, hooves, throat, etc. We process all animal types as long as it’s clean and you have a valid tag. It depends on multiple factors. For wild game, it’s usually first in, first out. Some people have different hanging preferences or time frames. When possible, we try to accommodate our customers needs.
When we receive the animal, we weigh the animal. This is how the weight used for billing. We follow up with you and go over cutting instructions to tailor the process to your needs. Once the animal is ready to be processed we cut the steaks and roasts as requested and grind the remaining meat for burger/sausage. The meat is then split into your desired portions and wrapped in a plastic cellophane to prevent freezer burn, followed by butcher paper that has a wax coating. After the cutting and wrapping is complete, we ensure a deep freeze on all the meat before calling you to pick up.
This depends on the type of animal, the amount of fat, damage done to the animal, your cutting preferences, and many other factors. The animal is weighed on the rail. Usually we figure around 1/3 loss from hanging weight after trimming fat, removing bone, etc.
Yes! We offer hang only services. Hanging wild game requires a valid tag. The animal will need to be quartered and clean with no head, hooves, or hide. Prices are non-negotiable an can be found on our Wild Game Pricing link above.
